Deven and Friends outside the Kyushu-Basho Sumo stadium. Below are the highlights of the tournament. The guy spinning the stick is the current Yokozuna - AsaShoRyu, which means morning small dragon.
After the Sumo I watched movie, followed by Tempura at a street stall. Fukuoka is Famous for Ramen, but I can't eat that because I am a vegetarian. This was followed by a night in a capsule hotel. Very cheap, very comfortable, and I had a massage, a Sauna and an Onsen there too.
The last two are pictures of Canal City, a giant shopping mall in Fukuoka. They celebrate Christmas here, despite less than 2% of the population being Christian.
