Georges boat.  I rode this boat to Kabashima on my Birthday.  It was gorgeous day, and I stood on the front from where I took this picture.  His name isn't really George by the way.

So this guy offered to wash my feet.  Cool huh?
It was at the Goto High School cultural festival.

This is some Ikebana (flower arranging) I did.
I was taught by a Grandmaster of flower arranging, Mrs. Yamamoto.

Me jumping off a rock that about 15 feet high.  Incredible.  This shows how Japan has changed me.  I wouldn't be doing stuff like this back in England.

I'm wearing a samurai haircut.  It just looks kind of funny.

Below is the Fukue Nebuta festival.  A fantastic event, I'm not sure why they do it other than to have a great big street party.  All of the kids in the photos are my students.

Here is a Halloween party.

I'd taught the kids a few days earlier at elementary school, so they all remembered me and decided to swamp me.  One of the prize winners was this girl dressed as Hermione Granger, they're big on Harry Potter over here.

I threw a party for all of my friends at Divali.

It was great, I cooked loads of things for the first time, and everyone loved the food.  I made Samosa, Dhal and Cauliflower Shak.

This is a dance called Soran.  All of my students practiced this in the baking heat for hours so they could perform it at sports day.  It was pretty cool though.

Finally, This is me in Fukuoka, my first real trip in Japan.  It was great.
